Ben Patrun

Profile

Ben joined Cordogan Clark & Associate during his Junior year at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Architecture, Ben was hired full time. During his internship he has had hands-on experience in schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration. His 2D and 3D computer skills have helped develop, explain, and execute design ideas for multiple China based competition projects. Ben has also gained increased appreciation for restoring the built environment while working on renovating historic Chicago institutions. His experience on a range of projects that includes chimney restorations to urban planning competitions enables him to operate at many different scales.

From a very young age he has enjoyed drawing and the challenges of representing the physical world, real or imagined. This led his pursuit of architecture as a career. Through active participation he is avidly learning how the built environment is constructed and how to deliver innovative architecture to society.
