Since joining Cordogan, Clark & Associates Heather has gained experience in a wide variety of projects including institutional and educational facilities, single and multi-family residential projects, municipal buildings, and commercial projects. Most recently, she has been working on the design development of a multi-family residence with ground floor retail in Mt. Prospect, Illinois and the construction documents for the renovation of a high school in the Chicago Public School district.
Heather earned her Masters of Architecture from Cornell University in 2009. While at Cornell, she was a teaching assistant for two landscape architecture history courses and the undergraduate Thesis Proseminar course. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University, graduating with degrees in Physics and Studio Art
Heather’s architectural and science background lends a unique perspective. She enjoys technically challenging assignments and strives to create the best solution to a design problem based on the client’s needs, code requirements and common construction practices. Her project involvement includes schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
