Profile

Since joining Cordogan Clark & Associates in 2003, Andrea has focused on projects related to recreation, higher education, and municipalities. She has completed recreation projects for the Fox Valley Park District; Naperville Park District; Lombard Park District; Peru YMCA; Governors State University; and is currently working with the Kishwaukee YMCA. Andrea performs task architecture work for the City of Naperville Department of Public Works and Governors State University. Projects include re-roofs, fire alarm upgrades, site lighting projects, and renovations to an early childhood center. She has also worked with Waubonsee Community College on their new bookstore at the Dickson Center and their new downtown Aurora campus. In addition, she is currently working on Northern Illinois University’s renovation to Cole Hall. This project, now in the Construction Administration phase, is a full remodeling and addition to Cole Hall and includes a new, state-of-the-art Scale-Up-Lab, new lecture hall, and new Anthropology Museum to house the University’s collection.

Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2000 and Master of Architecture with emphasis on structural engineering in 2002 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also studied abroad at the Ecole d’ Architecture in Versailles, France from 1998-1999. Andrea is a registered architect in the State of Illinois since 2009 and a LEED AP since 2009.
