The City of Aurora commissioned Cordogan Clark & Associates to design its Visitor Center and Mastodon Gallery for Phillips Park. The new Center features the mastodon exhibit; pictures and histories of the park, zoo and Sunken Garden walls; and a 72-seat area for presentations that can be used to host schools and community groups. The Mastodon Gallery houses the mastodon bones found in the park in the 1930s.
