COMMERCIAL: Rush Copley Heart Institute: Cardiac Care Center
Aurora, Illinois

Cordogan, Clark and Associates were the health care architects for this two-story cardiac center on the Rush-Copley Hospital Campus that expands and centralizes the hospital's Heart Institute. Previously, the hospital's outpatient cardiac services were scattered throughout the campus. These services are now housed in the Cardiac Care Center.

This new facility contains a cardiac rehabilitation lab, a diabetes center, and a preventive care education center. Diagnostic areas that use nuclear imaging and echocardiograms, and that perform cholesterol and stress tests, are also located in this facility.

The medical director of Rush-Copley's Cardiology Services and the Fox Valley Cardiovascular Consultants Group relocated to this facility where community programs, clinical trials, and continued education for physicians take place.

The Cardiac Care Center also contains a Women's Heart Center and a Curves Gym, making it more convenient for women to access diagnostic services as part of their daily routine.
