The Kendall County Main Street Campus expansion is a comprehensive project that enhances the overall function and aesthetics of the campus while providing improved services and accessibility for residents.
The new Phase 1 office building serves county elections, county clerk, and county recorder services. Phase 2 includes the renovation of the current 20,000 SF county office building, site improvements, the creation of a welcoming main entry lobby and stair addition on the north, employee entrance and stair addition on the south, and improved security measures. This design streamlines access and navigation for visitors and creates a cohesive and organized campus layout, providing safer and more efficient spaces for all. The three-story open space as the new main entry addition is strategic in creating a welcoming and easily navigable environment for public accessibility. This design is aesthetically appealing while providing clear wayfinding for visitors.
These new and renovated facilities offer improved services and accessibility, reflecting Kendall County's commitment to serving its residents effectively. Cordogan Clark provided Architecture, Engineering, and Construction services for this $8.75 million project.
