The 55,000 S.F. campus academic facility houses the University's:
The design of this 3-story academic building includes 12 dedicated classrooms, including clusters for use exclusively by the partnership school, classrooms for college of education students, Caterpillar Learning and Teaching laboratory, computer laboratories, a media-editing facility, art studios, offices for faculty, and a 500-seat auditorium. The Institute for Collaboration is a building on the Aurora University campus that is designed for teaching teachers how to teach.
The 500-seat multipurpose Concert Hall is centrally located on campus. This positions it as the main hall for university events as well as public functions. Acoustically designed as a Concert Hall, it is also used as an Auditorium for lectures and special events. The fully glazed end wall behind the proscenium provides views of the campus from the main hall. The acoustics of the concert hall are designed so they can be regulated to modify its acoustical brightness. Special perimeter treatment in the hall was chosen for its acoustic mass and bass reflectivity.
